What I Want You to Know:
People need to know their status, if they fear what the result will mean they won't get tested.
How HIV/AIDS has affected my life:
I have never met anyone with AIDS, but I learned about it at a very young age and it has helped me to be more careful about my sex life.
How I contribute to the fight against HIV:
AIDS walks, telling friends to be safe, passing out condoms to unsuspecting people.
Why I get tested:
I have not always been safe and I decided I needed to see what my status was. I got a mouth swab at a free clinic and I tested negative. The results came quick but every second of waiting was painful.
