What I Want You to Know:
I have been affected by HIV through the lives of the clients that I work with who are infected and affected.
Why I think it's important to challenge HIV/AIDS stereotypes:
To dispel myths about HIV, how it is transmitted and also that anyone can be infected.
How I contribute to the fight against HIV:
By providing education to individuals living in transitional housing and the general public.
Why I get tested:
I first wanted to know my status, and also believe that it is important for me to know because it can be used as a learning tool, especially for those women of color who are affected by the epidemic.
